1. About Us

Centro Nacional de Tradução Certificada is an independent booking platform that arranges for IMT-approved translators to translate the IMT (Instituto da Mobilidade e dos Transportes) theory examination into a candidate’s language before the exam. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the Portuguese Government, IMT, or any public authority. Our service is a private intermediary.

2. Eligibility

• You must be aged 16 or over to make a booking.
• You must hold a valid IMT theory examination appointment at the time of booking.
• You must provide accurate information about your examination date, centre, and required language.
• You are responsible for confirming with the IMT that you are entitled to take the theory test in your chosen language.

3. Booking Process

Upon completing the online booking form and submitting payment, your booking request will be reviewed. A translator will be matched and assigned within 24–48 business hours. You will receive an official confirmation document by email. The translated theory test is prepared by an IMT-approved translator before your exam and sent to the IMT; it is not sent to you. Booking confirmation is subject to translator availability.

4. Pricing & Payment

• Prices are shown in Euros (€) and include VAT where applicable.
• Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• English, French, and Spanish translations are priced at €200.
• All other languages are priced at €250.
• Prices are subject to change without notice but confirmed bookings will not be affected.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details on cancellations, amendments, and refunds.

6. Our Liability

• We facilitate the translation of the IMT theory test by an approved translator. We do not guarantee examination success.
• If a translator is unable to complete the translation due to circumstances beyond our control, we will assign a replacement or issue a full refund.
• We are not liable for examination cancellations made by IMT or the examination centre.
• We are not responsible for incorrect information provided by the candidate at the time of booking.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, design, logos, and software, is the property of Centro Nacional de Tradução Certificada or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without written permission.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Portuguese courts.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated on this page. Continued use of the service following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
